Committment to studies and service

Every new student makes a written commitment to the studies, and their level of commitment is observed throughout their study career. The student commits to keeping a positive attitude towards studying and learning, participating in the lessons, following the shared rules, and in taking remedial instruction and extra assignments if necessary.

Helsinki Culinary School Perho is committed to organizing the education in such a manner that the student will acquire a wide range of basic professional skills plus some specialized skills in service of the industry. Students will stay enthusiastic about self-development and life-long learning and act accordingly, finding employment after graduation.

Students’ photos in school publications and on the school home pages

Photos are taken at Helsinki Culinary School Perho on many occasions, such as on the Open Doors Day, on school lessons or in work training situations. The photos are used for the school’s Internet pages and the school publications, such as the yearbook. Every student has the right to forbid the publication of his/her own picture in a school publication or on the Internet. A written permission will be requested from the parents of children under 18 years at the beginning of the studies. A permission for taking photos will always be asked for in situations in which they are taken. We hope that you will have a positive attitude towards the photographer, who takes an interest in live teaching situations and in the results of your practical work.
